It's cold and rainy, and I'm just getting over a rather unpleasant cold, but I'm glad to be able to breathe again. It's been cool doing these illustrations for the Washington City Paper, and I'm fairly pleased with how the illustrations have been coming out. I've been doing them all in photoshop, which I don't feel I've quite mastered yet. I just started experimenting with new brushes the other day, and some of the effects are actually pretty useful. I sent Amanda Hess two of the finished drawings earlier, which she can use in her blog. It's exciting to be working with a such a sharp writer who writes about subjects that are interesting to read and illustrate. I've had fun coming up with the images so far.
I guess that there's not much else to report, so I'm gonna haul my ass up to bed and crash.
Good night, rainy world.
